“The German street art collective ‘Mentalgassi’ uses prints and wheatpaste to transform urban objects into beautiful works of art. In past they have worked with concrete, stickers, paper, x-ray films and self-sticking color transparencies. The oversized paste-ups on containers and the stickers on ticket validating machines in the subway-stations are quite expressive. The portraits on the fence are impressive and creative, don’t blink while you walk past them or you might just miss them. Their work called ‘Flip-Images’, a large-scale image-installations makes it possible for the people to see different images from different perspectives. One of their slogans is “Mentalgassi create street art to open your eyes”, describes perfectly of their idea of providing “urban entertainment” to the public.”
