Global’s Night Moves…I used to watch this when there was no 24 hour TV, and I switched from this to Chuck the Security Guard on City in my insomnia back in the early 80’s. This video says 1986, but it’s more like 1983…the Colonial Tavern was gone by 1986 and it’s shown in this video.
Too bad there isn’t footage showing Le Coq D’Or. I am too young to have ever gone there, but I hear some of the best Blues and Jazz artists played there.
The video takes us North on Yonge, along Gerrard, and then back South on Yonge.
It’s hard to imagine Dundas and Yonge without Dundas Square…but, here it is in the video!
